Our Mini Land Rover Adventure is on a purpose built circuit situated on the banks of the River Derwent on the site of the old Derwent Wireworks and is one of several new attractions designed for families and children based on the same site.
When you visit us you get free parking, use of our outdoor picnic area and access to the popular Filling Station Cafe included

Come and join us at Derbyshire's first Mini Land Rover Driving Experience next to the Great British Car Journey on the banks of the River Derwent

Enjoy the shouts of excitement and smiles of joy as you watch the kids take control of these fun replica Land Rover on our custom built gravel track from our outdoor picnic area

Hot Wheels Raceway
Adjacent to the Mini Land Rover course is our Hot Wheels Riverside Raceway where you can race 2 cars side by side down the longest Hot Wheels track in the Midlands

For just £10 you get to choose 2 free cars (you get to take them home too) and have unlimited access to the track to see who is the champion racer
Great British Car Journey
Our award winning car museum offers both an adult and children's interactive tour on a tablet and tells the story of the British Car Industry through the cars you will remember
From the famous cars from film and television to the iconic Mini there is something to interest everyone in the family on the Car Journey
Drive Dads Car
The Derwent Wireworks site is also the home of our Classic Car Driving Experience.where you can drive over 50 classic cars from the past.
We have recently developed a Junior Driving Experience for children a bit too big for the Mini Land Rovers but not yet old enough to drive on the roads
Canal & Woodland Walks
Being based in the Derwent Valley World Heritage Area means we have some amazing walks on our doorstep in the popular woodland areas adjacent to our site.
They make ideal locations for exploring, picnics and dog walking. You can purchase a walk guide at reception which will entitle you to park all day if you want to take advantage our unique location
